This is timely for us-- Lorelei has just started getting really interested in the potty, but, HORRORS! she has also figured out how to get completely undressed. So now when she needs to pee she will strip off her diaper, pants (and socks and booties, if she's wearing them) and take off. Unfortunately, she hasn't really decided that it's necessary to go IN the potty. So sometimes she'll just pick another place and pee there. There's usually some sort of toddler logic involved; like, she avoids the carpet, unless she stands over a vent (Yuck! Logistical nightmare!). Hard floor is okay, but it is better if there is some object she can use for target practice, like a rug, or a piece of paper. She doesn't pee on toys, she likes them too much. I am hoping this means she will be using the potty consistently soon?? Please???

That is just a funny way to word that question. I'm thinking he was wondering if Charlie could dress/undress himself.

That makes sense. It is definitely a milestone to be able to do that. It doesn't mean Charlie has naked tendencies or something. Lol.

My mom said I went through a phase where I hated clothes, so maybe it's common?

All the other questions were around developmental milestones, so I guess that's another milestone? I was too busy laughing to really ask about it!

Lol. We don't have a kid quite yet, but I used to babysit one of our neighbors who was pretty into being naked around age 2. I made the mistake of trying to change him out of his PJs while I was babysitting him (b/c his mom wouldn't be home until after lunch time), and I spent the next two hours chasing him around with his clothes literally begging him to put them on.

One of my friend's daughters did the exact opposite at dinner once... she stood up, took off her own diaper, and sat back down. Luckily, we were all done eating by then.

"Does Charlie ever take his clothes off?"

I was confused, so he elaborated. "Do you ever leave the room and come back, and Charlie is only wearing his diaper?"

Wow that has never actually happened. Charlie is always resisting taking his clothes off! If he did take off all his clothes and walk around just in his drawers, that would make me happy... it would be another sign that he is my son.

Anyway, does your LO ever take his or her clothes off?
