@travellingbee: I have used one...but still TTC 3 years later. I've heard that the at-home tests aren't worth the money you would spend. They typically only check one hormone level...that may or may not indicate how fertile you are...and definitely won't tell you if you have some other impediment to conception (an anatomic variant, blocked tubes etc). Spending a couple of months tracking your cycle (reading TCOYF, temping, using OPK) would be a much better use of your time! And definitely see your doctor early! :goodluck:

I've never heard of this, but I dont think any kit can tell you anything about your fertility. I've had a slew of testing done bloodwork, u/s, hsg, etc... and everything is right in normal range.. 2 yrs of TTC, 3 failed IUI, 1 failed IVF.. still no pregnancy.

I did, and my numbers came back normal for day 3 (when I had the testing done). I still don't think that the at-home tests can be super accurate, though, especially when compared to what I had done at the RE (ultrasounds, bloodwork, etc).

@meganmp: ah ok thanks. Did you have testing done through an re too? I've heard sometimes infertility isn't explained by their tests, right? I guess I'm just wondering if the at-home test are not accurate or if they are similar to the Dr.'s tests and just can't explain all infertility?

They told me I was perfectly fertile. Two years later, we did IVF.
