I have bad ankles from sports injuries so I have to wear shoes. I wear them during Focus T25 but no shoes for PiYo.

@Mrs. Sunshine: I checked out the program you said you were doing and it's pretty high impact. Some at home programs I wouldn't bother with shoes but this one I think shoes would be helpful.

I've book marked her 4.0 challenge and will give it a try! I've been running which is great for keeping weight down and me feeling good but does nothing for toning my little mummy tummy.

When I worked out at home, I didn't wear shoes, but I also worked out on carpet. If I worked out on hardwood floors, I'm sure it'd hurt!

@PawPrints: I'm usually on my hardwood...my arches hurt. As do the joint on the side of my feet by my pinky toe...maybe I'm just a wimp lol

I exercise barefoot (on carpet and an exercise mat). It's good for building strength in your calves and feet.

@ldh112: I LOVE it! It's really easy to stay motivated. She's just a regular person, not a pro fitness instructor or anything so sometimes she's having just as hard of a time doing the workout as you are. Its only been 4 weeks and I've lost inches and I've noticed improvement not just on the program but also in yoga and when playing with/lifting my kids

@Mrs. Sunshine: I hope it helps! I don't golf, but I keep a ball handy just for this purpose. It feels really good.

Definitely wear shoes! A good pair of workout shoes definitely help support not just your feet but your entire body. My trainer always told me if I was going to invest in anything it should be a great pair of shoes.

I used to exercise in bare feet until mine started hurting too. I started wearing tennis shoes and it made such a difference! I'd try it next time you work out.

I don't. I used to dance and many dance shoes have no padding, so most floors don't bother my feet. That said, if your feet hurt, I think the prudent course is to go swimming or biking instead of doing the workout program and give your feet a chance to recover and then wear shoes for a bit when you go back to it, working down to less padded shoes and then maybe just socks.

Also, standing on something like this whenever you get a chance: http://www.target.com/p/zenzation-purair-balance-disc-blue/-/A-10877723?ci_src=17588969&ci_sku=10877723&ref=tgt_adv_XSG10001&AFID=google_pla_df&CPNG=pla_sports+shopping&adgroup=balance+trainer_sc&LID=14pgs&KID=6da4ceba-7f33-469c-838b-6828fc2b1d7a&kpid=10877723&gclid=Cj0KEQjwx_WuBRDJ7tSK2-W0pJkBEiQAEWgR8K4DOj54icH1JTvpcbh45rwmWM0jF5KeB1523_eXINgaAvJX8P8HAQ or rolling a golf ball under your feet for a few minutes several times a day should help your feet feel better!

I'm on week 4 of Bikini body mommy and haven't been wearing shoes but have recently started feeling some pains in my feet (both muscular and joints)...should I be wearing shoes when I workout?
