The baby wasn't able to tolerate the Pitocin and so they had to stop it, and give me oxygen. I ended up having a C-section last night. Pitocen did not work for me and caused baby's heart rate to decrease. They gave me two doses of cervadil, back to back and it worked. I once labor started it went very quick, only about seven hours. I really hope it doesn't take you that long but if it does don't be discouraged, I know it's hard, but baby will come! I'm still only 1cm dilated. They started another round of Pitocin about an hour ago and so far I'm having contractions ... 2-3 minutes apart and not painful.
