DD2 is 18 months and still fitting comfortably in the infant bucket! We don't take it out of the car unless she fell asleep and we want to head into the house, but otherwise it just stays in the car. We plan on switching DD1 to the Frontier, DD2 taking over the Diono, and washing the infant for #3 due at the end of April. I hated lugging the bucket seat places.<br /> E: about 6/7 months. It was too hard for me to wrangle a young toddler and the infant seat. Please E hated the bucket seat. LO2 is now 5.5 months and I doubt we'll switch anytime soon. We bought the convertible early because of holiday sales. We loved the bucket seat for all those reasons but tried out the convertible to see if he would cry less in the car...and he does!! We went on a trip to FL where we were driving around a lot and he spent most of the time screaming in the car. I had to sit in the back the entire time with him.
