Lol. I don't think of preschooler as an age descriptor like toddler. In my area kids qualify for preschool at 2.5 years old, but I know it's different everywhere. I wouldn't call my kid a preschooler until he's in preschool. 1-4 = toddler. The curriculum and expectations changed a lot from his 2 year old room to his 3 year room. In our daycare center's literature, they say that they're preparing for kindergarten and the social experience of it. Otherwise, they are in the toddler class - or they may not even have a toddler class and just start at age 3. </p>
