I've heard fun things about the music classes, but it seems the gym classes are better when your kid is mobile. We did a trial before my son could crawl and I felt it was a big waste of time.<br /> What about finding a library story hour for them? I just recently enrolled them in a baby gym class when he was nine months old and crawling. I took him to the first class to check it out (on my day off) and he loved it, so I figured they'd have a great time. The class is $120 (?) for 8 weeks and more than worth it because we dont pay for childcare. I took him to a baby movement and music class when he was 2-4 months old and I was still on maternity leave. It was through the local parks and was about $50 for 8 sessions. I'd wait until the kid is mobile at least although I think it can be good at any age. My mom has him during the work week and I think it would be fun for them to do together.
