If my daughter is interested, I would probably allow some cutsey fun lip gloss and concealer (if she is a pizza face like I was!). I realize that makeup is how teens can express themselves and feel better about their skin. I would've killed for some foundation at 14. I enjoy wearing makeup, too. I wasn't allowed any until 16, and I always felt that was too old. Even a teenager just wants to feel pretty sometimes. And some of it's just trendy--those roll on glitters sure were fun when I was younger!</p> <p>What I want to do, when she's old enough, is make a day of it and take her to get an age appropriate makeover. If I had a really honkin' zit my mom would let me use some concealer before that but it wasn't until probably 9th grade that I started wearing it regularly. I've never went overboard though.
