We spent all day home alone during the summers when I was 11. It was only for a few hours though since we got home around 3:30 and their parents would be home at 6. That was the best time of the day for me, I would go to my friends houses and we would stuff our faces with raamen and hot pockets and watch tv. In my state kids are not allowed to be home alone under age eight. My brother was 2 years older than me. </p> <p>I hope to work "mothers hours" so I can always pick my kids up if they need it.
