When friends with newborns were crowd sourcing for help about sleep and soothing techniques on FB. I felt able to offer advice and what worked for us.

After a year, but I didn't truly feel like a seasoned mom until I had my second!

Lol I think I may have been slightly misunderstood. In no way do I feel like I've got parenting down pat - I'm sure I never will - but at that 4-6 month mark it was like she was a normal part of my life, like she's always been here. I started trusting my gut more around that time, too.

I feel like I adjusted right away, maybe around 4 months? I kind of felt like I knew what was going on & not having the "crazy first time mom" feeling. It was tough once her medical issues happened because I didn't know if I was overreacting, but I trusted that gut that everyone talks about (& thanks goodness I did!)

Oh, never? I got the whole mess down, then we had to deal with preschool. A whole new world, lol.

I was stressing out a lot at 6 months about solids but found a good routine by 7 months. I think around 7-8 months it started to get easier.

Wow, you're good! At 8.5 months, I still feel like a clueless, exhausted, slightly bewildered new mummy!!

You know that bewildered, hazy, "I can't believe this is my life" feeling (for good or bad)? When did it wear off for you? For me I think it was around 4 months... Or maybe closer to 6. Then I started feeling like "I've got this."
