<description>&#60;p&#62;LO isn't going around pointing and naming objects but if I say &#34;Can you get me your shoe/sock/book?&#34;, he'll say the word and get me the object.  And then he'll say the word periodically but not every day.  Do you count a word towards your child's vocabulary only if they say it every day or if they routinely say it not prompted?
