I can't even remember the last time I stayed up until 2am!! Where do kids find the energy to fight bedtime so much?!</p> <p>My son will usually ask to go to sleep. Or if he looks tired (usually because he is sick) then I just ask him if he wants to go for his nap and he will say yes and head up to his room. We limited naps a few months ago, and usually he will fall asleep at dinner if he is super tired. Falling asleep at lunch was a first, and he needed a nap that day. I haven't found that it messes up his nighttime routine too much. I usually like to stick to the same nap time so that her evening isn't messed up, but today was an exception! </p>
