Dd was in the nicu for a little over a week. After that I developed mastitis and broke my elbow while trying to care for a newborn . For me, it wasn't PPD, it was post partum anxiety/ocd. I was only diagnosed last week, after being sick for 9 straight months and seeing countless doctors and specialists. I think it was more that I wanted to still do everything and it just got to be too much. Mostly anxiety followed by the other symptoms. But I also had ppd, so I'm not sure I can distinguish the two in the very beginning. I really hope I don't get it again.
