We use a thermoscan ear thermometer. </p> <p>DD seems to be handling it a lot better now that she's older (she's 1 :) Although she did pretty well the last time, I still can not shake how bad it was the first time. Her fever spiked so quickly then. It was literally her playing one minute, then yelling and going limp the next. </p> <p>She's sleeping again and it seems all's well. FYI, our ped said that most of the temple thermometers you buy are not very accurate and test/show high, in case that's what you are using. We've had our temple one read 102 when the under the armpit one read just under 100. I have never given her fever meds before. At what temperature do you give your LO ibuprofen? </p> <p>She's at 100.58 F (38.1 C). </p>
