But I will definitely keep an eye on here :)</p> <p>@runnerd: I wouldn't have known this 3 years ago, but once your child starts school in a real school environment (kindergarten and up), you will be so busy going to birthday parties and school activities and school volunteering and you will meet a lot of other mom friends! We started pre-k in a real school that goes up to grade 8 just last year, and oh boy, I am exhausted going to all these things, and there are a lot of interesting moms to meet. The part that bums me out is, DS is never "best friends" with the kids of the moms who I would really love to be friends with! And I work from home on top of that!</p> <p>I'm a pretty big introvert so it usually takes me years to form good friendships, and I am trying to overcome my instincts and figure out how to make some friends sooner rather later! I would love to take charge in trying to plan some monthly (or every 5-6 weeks) meet ups!
