I know if I did something like YA she’d be way too involved for comfort (though maybe I just listen to all the terribly violent YA???). </p> <p>On the other end of the spectrum I might try a classic like a Jane Austen or Brontë or a book I know well enough to skip dicey places. Little Women is on my list since the new movie is coming out soon. The car ride will be 7-9 hours and I'm worried about getting bored without DH. Any recommendations for capitvating audiobooks for me that would be ok if the kids overheard? (e.g. no curse words, sex, violence)</p> <p>I have a few that we could listen to as a family but then the kids get bored and want me to pause the story so I want one for me too. </p> <p>My kids are 6 and 4. </p>
