I toured Azul Beach once but have never stayed overnight (I had stayed multiple times at their sister properties, the El Dorados, though). Azul Beach is a beautiful, small boutique-type hotel that is very family-friendly. You will have an amazing time!!! Very family friendly but such a small resort that we didn't feel overwhelmed. Food was good, service was great! The beach was pretty but had more seaweed (little sticks?) than I would have liked but they worked their butts off to clean it every morning. DS was 18 months when we went and he had a blast!
