And that's coming from someone whose last trim was like $20. I am not above bobby pinning parts of my hair back when they dont look quite right. :P My personal opinion is that the less I pay the less I ask of them in terms of styling. All that said, this special is not winning them any points/referrals! I'm sooo sorry. I had this happen a couple times, sadly - once was actually at a very cheap place (think great clips/fantastic sams etc).. I don't think all cheap places are bad - but it's a hit or miss. This time was a huge colossal miss- she not only cut it 5-6" too short but also didn't even know how to style it and it just was a hot mess. I cried so hard. Of course it did grow back - but that didn't make me less upset in the meantime.</p> <p>And you DO deserve a good haircut - no matter the price point!! These people go to school for this, they should be able to do what the customer asks!!</p> <p>I didn't start having successful cuts until I found one stylist I loved and stuck with her. It's about $30/cut, so I only end up going 2x a year, but it's worth every penny to feel this good about myself. She always makes me feel beautiful - can't put a price on that!</p> <p>Next time you go, maybe you should ask some friends for a referral? It's the best way to find a trusted stylist!
