All cycle, and I definitely believe it's what helped lengthen my LP enough to get me pregnant (and stay pregnant) with my three DDs.

When TTC DD1, my doctor had me take 500mg of a sustained release B6 daily throughout the cycle. I didn't think it made a dramatic difference in my LP the first month, but I got pregnant the second month on it.

I took B6 the month I got pregnant. I think I started it at the end of my period and when I found out I was pregnant a month later I stopped taking it. I think it pushed back my ovulation by over a week though (I ovulated around cycle day 25 or 26 that month), but I also had a lot of EWCM which wasn't the norm for me and I'm sure the EWCM helped me get pregnant that month.

I'm ttc again and not sure if I want to take it since I don't want it to push back my ovulation, although of course I'm not totally sure if B6 was the reason for that since I only took it for a few weeks.

I was told to take sustained release B6 specifically for mucous production, but I take it all cycle. (I think poor cervical mucous can be a sign of low B6, so that's why I take it all the time)

Be careful, though, if you've tested positive for MTHFR. Like folate, all B vitamins can be harder to process. I take P-5-P instead of B6 because it's supposed to be a more natural/easier to process form.

For better mucous, I take P-5-P daily, and mucinex from about CD 9 through O+2

@knittylady: So sorry for your losses! I've had one early miscarriage, one suspected cp, and two confirmed chemicals since august. It's so, so hard.

I take it all cycle. It didn't seem to lengthen my luteal phase, but I take it just in case it does something useful.

I started taking a b complex daily after my most recent chemical pregnancy. I got a positive for my current, healthy, 10 week pregnancy, 4 weeks after I started taking it.

ETA: I am also still taking it when I can handle swallowing a vitamin.

When did you take it? Did it help LP or help you get a sticky BFP?
