My lo is almost 3 months. Right now we've been doing bedtime between 7-8 and she has been sleeping all the way through to 5-6. We dont have any schedule for the day but she always seems to fall back asleep in the morning within the hour of waking up.

When is a good time to start a nap schedule?!

Oh, but Toddler Girl had a real schedule:

7:00-8:00 wake up
Nap #1 two hours later for 1-2 hours
Nap #2 between 1 and 2 depending on the length of first nap for 2 hours
6:00 bedtime. And she slept through until morning.

It sounds like a wonderful dream when I remember it.

Oh how I wish I had a nap schedule.

wake up between 5:45 and 7:30
nap #1 starts around 8:30-9:30. 45 minutes. I have to wear her and it still doesn't always work.
nap #2 starts between 12 and 2 depending on if she managed a first nap and is anywhere from 45 minutes to 2.5 hours. Usually 1.5 hours.
Bedtime is 6:00-7:00. Nearly always 6ish as she's exhausted by then.

The kid is killing me, I hope she settles into a better schedule once this massive wonder week is over.

At 6 months:

Wake up between 7:30-8:30 AM
Nap 1 between 10:00 - 11:00 AM and for about 1-2 hours
Nap 2 around 2pm when his older brother naps (free time!) and usually for about 2-4 hours
Bed time 9:30-10:00 PM

We have late wake up and bed times in this house hold. I wish it was earlier but it's hard when my husband doesn't come home until past 7 PM. But this works for us for now. I know that as our youngest gets older it will get a little easier. Well, that's the hope!

At 13 months:
Wakeup 6:30
Nap 1: 10:30-12
Nap 2: 3:30-4:45 ( he fights this one)
Bedtime: 7:30

I probably would put him down earlier for both naps but this is what his schedule has been at day care and I can't really control it.

LO is 11 months and may soon be transitioning to 1 nap (noooooo!!). She basically takes one long nap and doesn't take the second nap (but she is clearly tired so I put her down in her crib to rest). I've tried the waking her early if she sleeps more than an hour for her morning nap and she still doesn't take the afternoon nap so I've given up and I just let her sleep as long as she wants. I feel she is still too young for just 1 nap (she always napped more than average before this)...so I'll just keep putting her down for a rest period until she clearly doesn't need it (she will be so cranky bc she is tired but she barely sleeps and just rolls around her crib)...lately her one long nap has been the afternoon nap but sometimes it is the morning nap

Her current "2 nap" schedule:

7:30 - wake up
10:00 - 11:00 - first nap (usually a rest period in her crib)
1:00 - 3:30 - second nap
6:15 - bedtime

This is C's schedule at 6 months old:

8/8:30- wake up
10/10:30-12/12:30- first nap
2/2:30-4/4:30- second nap
6:15- bedtime

She actually sleeps a LOT more than the "average". She's still sleeping about 14hrs through the night and 3-4 during the day. So... usually between 16-18hrs per day.

This was Charlie's schedule when he was 12 months old:

6:00am – 6:30am – Wake up
8:15am – 9:45am – Nap #1
1:45pm – 3:00pm – Nap #2
7:30pm – Bedtime

Looking back on it now, I think we could have let him sleep until 3:30pm during his second nap. He was also an early riser so he went down for his first nap relatively quickly (after a little over 2 hours).

This is Olive's current schedule:

7:30am - Wake up
10:00am - 11:30am - Nap #1
2:30pm - 3:30pm - Nap #2
6:30pm - Bedtime

We've always had to wake both Charlie and Olive up from their naps or they'd nap too long and bedtime would become super late. Olive is also able to stay up longer before her first nap since she sleeps 13 hours at night, whereas Charlie slept 10-11 hours.

Anyway I think Olive may be increasing the time she's awake before her morning nap to closer to 3 hours, so just wondering about your schedule for your LO on two naps?
