Is it weird that I clicked on this thread just to see if it was about a second child or about baby poop? :)

Yup, epidural with #1, but med-free with #2.

Also had trouble bf'ing #1, so she was on 100% formula after a few months, whereas #2 was EBF and still nurses 2-3x a day at 18 months.

DD:
EBF until 9 months and then partly breastfed until she was one
The fever had start to set in, but she was conceived VERY quickly
Induced and ended up with a c-section at 40 weeks 6 days
She will be three in March

DS:
The fever had kind of set in, but not too terribly, he took three months to conceive.
EBF until three months, but it wasn't working. He was way underweight and needed the bottle (I still hate this!!!)
Water broke at 38 weeks 1 day and then c-section that same day (I don't think that is an emergency...)
He will be 1 in Feb

Baby #3
Got the fever REALLY fast!!!! I can't wait to start trying again, tentatively planning to start trying again in May!! :)

I have no baby fever symptoms yet! DD is 8 months old 2 weeks so she is still very much a baby. I just am hoping for a longer breastfeeding relationship and am unsure about a VBac. I want a vaginal delivery so badly! I want DH to cut the cord and have this baby thrown on my chest all wild but I had a section with DD due to her getting stuck in my pelvis. I pushed so hard the poor thing had a cut on her head! Just don't know if its in the cards for me!

I knew I wanted two and around 3 yrs apart, so that's exactly what happened. I went to formula at 4 months with DD and EBF the second time around with DS (so much easier the second time around for me). I did both medicated births, was not even a second thought for me :-), but was induced the first time and went into labor naturally 10 days early for #2.

Sort of plagued with baby fever, knew I wanted a second and that I wanted them around 2 years apart-they ended up 29m apart. Had to supplement DD but so far (4m) DS is EBF. Was induced both times: start to delivery was 8hr with DD and 4hr with DS.

With both, I gave birth vaginally with an epidural. The first time I got to 9.5 centimeters and asked for the epidural because I was too scared of the pushing, but labor wasn't that bad. It went by fast but I was able to manage the pain. With the second, I had to be induced because of high blood pressure...they used pitocin and although it went by fast, I was miserable. I didn't have any breaks and I for sure thought that's what death felt like! I got to 8cm's dilated and got the epidural. But I knew how to push the second time so it went by fast and easier that with my first (15 minutes compared to 3 hours).

I breastfed DS (first baby) except about one bottle of formula a week until 6 months, then cut out the formula when we introduced solids. I did EBF DD, though until we introduced solids.

The big difference between the two pregnancies and babies were that the first pregnancy wasn't bad and the second we horrendous. My first baby was high maitenice and never slept, or ate solids and my second baby sleeps, eats everything and is super happy.

Were you fever plagued?! Did you EBF the second time around but not the first?! Did you have natural labor versus c section or medicated first time through?!

Just curious all the moms experiences!
