Hi everyone, thanks for your advices! Her baby acne did eventually clear up a few weeks later. Her skin became totally clear and smooth again about 8 weeks. She is now over 10 weeks old. I washed her face at bath time daily with Aveeno baby soap and warm water. It was so hard not to try any type of lotion but I was able to refrain myself!

Thanks all! She doesn't seem bothered by it so I will be patient and wash with warm water. It's one of those issues that bothers me more than it bothers the baby. I really appreciate your input.

My LO got it around 3-4 weeks and it lasted about a month. Don't worry -- it will clear up! Our pedi told us not to put anything on it.

Our little guy got it at 2 weeks and it lasted about 3 weeks. Breastmilk or warm water on a washcloth helped keep it from aggravating.

My daughter got it around 2 weeks and it cleared up a few weeks after. We just left it alone and sometimes I would just gently dab her face with a washcloth and warm water.

Don't do anything to it, but you could put breast milk on it. LO's went away in a few weeks.

I know you don't want to hear this, but it really will clear up on its own. I use coconut oil on DD.

Our 5 week old baby girl started getting baby acne over a week ago. I am trying to refrain myself from calling the dr. because everyone tells me it will go away on its own. Does anyone know how long it persists and should I apply any OTC lotion on it? Thanks
