@shopaholic: Yes- I totally watched the clock and made sure we were extra quiet during the 10-15 minute mark. Made no difference. DH is bouncing and shushing her now.

@Foodnerd81: Yeah, it's definitely not as bad for the 3-4 am feed he's always up for because I think he's sooo tired at that point. You're not alone!! I hope she gives you a break soon.

@Pepper: Ugh. It's so frustrating. And she will actually wake up from a nap and look around and chill for a few minutes, so she doesn't always freak out being left alone. Knock on wood, but usually the MOTN feeds she doesn't do this-- sometimes, but it's rare. I think she is half sleep for the whole feeding though, and I let her suck until she falls off. But I do that at bedtime too.

I guess I'm glad it's not just me :)

Mine ALWAYS did this. :( Sorry to say, we are JUST now trying to break the 25 min. wake-up (it progressively got better in 5 min. increments). I think it's just a matter of REM cycles, and my baby SUCKS at the transition of cycles - always wakes up. Like a clock. You could time her. :(

Yes yes yes. C does this constantly! He seems like he's asleep, but then he wakes up yelling after 10-15 minutes. I think the problem is when I put him down when he's asleep (after nursing), he isn't in a deep enough sleep. He wakes up when he realizes he's not being held, and freaks out.

DH will rock him back to sleep, but I usually lay next to him and replace his binky and shush him until he drifts off again. Then he wakes up to eat around 11 or 12, and we do this all over again!!

I've finally noticed a pattern with my baby and her sleep (both naps and bedtime). I nurse her to sleep, or nurse then rock her to sleep, put her down in her Rock and Play. She stays asleep, yay. Almost every time, 10-15 minutes later, she wakes up. We've tried letting her settle herself but it always leads to loud crying, so now we are trying to go in before it escalates. It takes anywhere from 10-30 minutes of bouncing and rocking to get her back down.

What is this? It is really annoying, especially for the times it's taken her forever to go to sleep. Anyone else's LO do this? It's not so bad when we are both home, so DH can go in and bounce her, but when it's just me it's just so tiring! We are quiet in the living room usually so I don't think we are waking her.
