It took C about a week to adjust back 6 hours when we visited my parents. It took her over a month to come forward 6 hours when we got back home.

It just depends on the kid.

You could try adjusting her schedule slightly over a period od a month or so. Every night out her to bed a little later until shes adjustedto the new time zone,

I think if you do a google search, you can see what you're supposed to do in terms of adjusting sleep depending on the direction you are going. There are also people who just keep the same schedule, because you have to do the reverse on the way back and it might not make sense given how long you stay.

It takes my son 4 days to adjust 6 hours, each way, once we are home if we do nothing at all.

That's going to be tough to take the photos the day after you get there! I remember when we went to Europe, it was hard enough getting on that 5-6 hour difference! I hope someone can help you out!

We are planning to go see my inlaws when LO is 11 months. They live halfway around the world where time difference is exactly 12/13 hours difference. Meaning when its 2pm here its in the am there.

The day after we land, we're taking LO's year old pictures in a studio and outside. Anyone have any advice on how to help her adjust the time difference and jet lag before we go? Or how to adjust for jet lag in general?
