I tried them at a football game with my 9 month old but she ripped them off. And still fell asleep in our carrier! The friend we borrowed them from had the same experience as the OP at a wedding with a similar aged son! I love their kids headphones though and now at 2.5, she keeps them on to watch her shows.

I love our baby banz headphones. We have an infant pair and a toddler pair, both of my boys have worn them to sporting events and outdoor events. I tried the larger ones on myself - they don't block out everything but its enough to make loud noises tolerable!

DH and I attended a wedding this weekend with our 5 month old son about 5-6 hours away from home. Despite my inlaws living half way in between, and my MIL offering to watch him, we decided to bring him along. I've posted elsewhere about my concerns with her watching him, so this isn't going to be that kind of post!

Instead, I wanted to espouse on my most recent favourite baby purchase - Baby Banz ear defenders.

Not only is LO teething right now, but he also has a small cold. Despite all that, he was an absolute champ and the wedding and reception. We would go to a quiet place on the premises for his diaper changes and feeds, and took time to play with him and centre him, so he didn't become overwhelmed by all the new people and noise.

But, of course, later on in the evening, he got tired and a little fussy. I had only bought the Baby Banz ear defenders a couple of days before, and decided to try them out. I put them on his head, and rocked him, while a friend of ours laughed and said that it wouldn't work. Well, about 3 mins later, he was asleep on my shoulder! I moved him to his infant car seat, and he stayed that way for over an hour in a noisy room filled with over 130 people. Even when he woke up, he was happy and smiling, and were even able to have a dance with DH before I took him back to the hotel.

Everyone kept commenting how cute he looked with them on, and how sweet and well-natured he was. He's a happy baby anyway, but the Baby Banz helped to extend the evening out a little longer for him (and me!).
