@macintosh: Our sink definitely wasn't one listed on their recommendations and it still works as well! And I hear you on the not wanting to bend over. LO outgrew the Puj (I may have squashed her into it even when she didn't fit!) and now can sit up and I still bathe her in the sink, just with a little no-slip mat under her butt. She makes the kitchen soggy but it saves my back and some water!

Thanks everyone! I found measurements for the Puj and my sink seems to fit their recommendation. The reason I want to do sink baths is because it's seems like it would be easier to do when he's little than crouching down by the tub. Someone gave me a used sling-type bather that can go in the tub, but I'm not thrilled with it.

@youboots: I'm intrigued by the bath sponge. My sink is fairly shallow, so it seems like that would work. I saw a really cheap one from Buy Buy Baby, so I might try that first.

I have the blooming bath and love it. The petals are soft so you can manoeuvre them to position the baby well. It's nice and cozy so baby stays comfortable and really warm.

I have the $17 Summer Infant 1-2-3 from Target and it works great...the sling never let my squirmy newborn slip out!

If you are trying to find a tub that fits in the sink for space saving reasons we picked this one. Doesn't go in the sink but it fold flat and hangs when you are done. We don't have anywhere to store a regular plastic tub so I looked into the sink options too but this one will last a lot longer as they grow.

We got this one:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000067EH7/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1427041558&sr=8-1&keywords=summer+infant+tub&pi=AC_SX200_QL40&dpPl=1&dpID=312T-GW3auL&ref=plSrch

And while I didn't think about it then, I'm glad we had a hard, stand alone one. DS got too big for the sink (and made too big of a mess trying to splash) but he was still iffy sitting up unassisted in the big tub. So we put this one in the big tub for him to sit in. Just something else to think about!

We just use a summer infant sponge. It was $8 on Amazon and will work in the sink until she grows into the bigger tub we got.

We love our 4 moms bathtub. It fits perfectly in our kitchen sink. But we mainly bought for the clean water feature. It has a clean water reservoir and side drains that drain the dirty water out while clean water flows in.

It really depends on your sink, but the Puj worked well when we had a medium oval shaped sink.

I'm looking for a recommendation for bathing a newborn in the sink. I've seen mixed reviews on the Blooming bath and Puj tub. Has anyone used one that they really liked? Thanks!
