@Honeybee: I love that it hooks to the side. The ones with auction cups were a risk for tipping over. This one is very secure. Unless LO flopped comptely over it she's not goig anywhere. The hook kinda swivels over the seat to save room for storage.

@Thehistoryofus: Do you like that it hooks? I saw a lot of seats with suction cups on the bottom, but that's the first one I've seen that hooks onto the tub.

I don't mind filling up the tub more. DD likes to practice swimming in the tub, so I'd actually prefer a seat that sits up a bit so I can fill it enough for her float in. :)

We got a safety first one that hooks onto the side of the tub. I love it but I hate having to fill the tub up all the way for her (the seat makes her sit an inch or two off the bottom meaning more water).

Does anyone have a baby bath seat they can recommend? If so, when did you start using it? Do you have to wait until your baby can sit up on his/her own?

I'd love to bathe DD and DS together every night (it'd be so much easier!) but he's not a steady sitter yet. He sits for only a couple seconds before toppling over, so I obviously can't put him the big tub without any support, yet. There's so many options in bath seats, though, and I don't know where to begin!
