Ugh I had the hardest time finding something- it's not easy if you don't want to spend a lot. I originally wanted to do a romper but the ones I found in the stores looked scratchy and uncomfortable, I ended up doing a really simple cotton gown- it wasn't that expensive and it's something we can use for Baby #2.

DS wore this suit. http://www1.macys.com/shop/product/lauren-madison-baby-boys-suit-baby-boys-christening-suit?ID=565570&CategoryID=59364#fn=sp%3D1%26spc%3D12%26ruleId%3D2%26slotId%3D7 I didn't love it but all the gowns I saw were way too girly. He was only 2.5 months at the time, so they would have all looked huge on him too.

DS had a suit a lot like the one pictured above, but it was pale blue. I briefly looked into white ones, but we'd been given that suit, it was way more expensive than any other clothes he had, and it was freaking adorable (and hard to get on/off), so he rarely wore it. I figured it counted as Sunday best, and our parish didn't have any rule that he wear white. I was baptized in a blue dress too, although I did get a robe to wear over it.

My DD wore my christening gown from when I was a baby.
Etsy might be a good option?

DS wore something similar to this. But it was linen and the bowtie was made from my mothers wedding dress.

DS wore an heirloom gown with a little bowtie. I think rompers are much more common than gowns for boys nowadays. We had a really hard time finding ours.

We have a girl so far but my nephew wore a gown, the same one that his older sisters wore that was made from their mom's wedding dress. My godson wore a little romper type thing that was cute. I have no idea where it came from though, but I could try to find out if you want.

Sorry, my tablet went crazy on me.

I couldn't find anything traditional I liked for DS, so we ended up with a cream fisherman sweater and cream cordoroy pants from BabyGap. They also have soft white button downs that we considered.

LO is getting baptized in 3 weeks. I really really wanted him to wear a gown, SO was opposed to the idea and wanted a romper.
We are compromising and getting a romper with detachable gown part.
They are sooooo expensive, so i feel like we settled, in order to save $$$$ but here is the one we went with: http://www.pinkprincess.com/lmason-wt.html

They were out of stock so I spent more to buy from Amazon. Both pinkprincess and jc penney have cheap options if money is an issue.

DS is being baptized in a month. He will by 7 months old. What did your DS wear if he was being baptized? A gown? Romper set? I can't find anything I like...
