@cyoung: I was reading "Medical News Today" and found this article: https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/323099.php .

My second flipped many times between breech and head down until around 37 weeks she finally seemed to run out of room and got stuck where she was (head down luckily). Hopefully your little runs out of room soon and stays put head down!

Yeah she flipped back yo head down last night. I honestly give up. She is gonna do flips probably untill I deliver. I think my biggest worry is she is gonna flip in a bad position during labor and I'll have to have an emergency c section. I'd rather have a planned one over that. But we will see

DS1 was transverse until around 37 weeks. I don’t remember exactly but I had an u/S at 37 weeks and he was head down. There is still time for her to move!

@delight: yeah she had got time and I think totally enough room. I have an irritable uturus and when she is head down I have a lot of contractions/ BH. I think she doesn't like it so she moves in a position that they stop...which is oblique or transverse. Idk I could be wrong. Whatever happens happens though lol.

My baby flipped the night before my induction when they put the Foley catheter in. I had always heard that babies can’t flip at the end because there isn’t enough room. Unfortunately for me, he must not have liked the balloon poking near his head because he flipped breech. Lucky for me, a doctor on call was skilled in vaginal breech deliveries. Or maybe unlucky, cause it was a painful recovery :bummed: Hopefully your babe gets back into position! Takeit from me, they can flip even at the last moment. And if yours is transverse, she doesn’t have too far to squirm into position!

Hard not to worry! Babies can flip until the very end.

Sorry I'm just now responding. I actually just felt her stretch sideways. It hurt so bad Haha. Unfortunately her head is not in my pelvis. I pressed her butt which is always in the same spot and her body shifted sideways. It's fine though cause she flips so much she may flip back down. She never can decide. She does have a history of being oblique and transverse. I just thought she finally decided to head in the right direction

I wouldn't worry too much based on this. I was pretty convinced DD2 had flipped right before delivery and luckily I was totally wrong  Things just start to feel different in general now that baby is all squished in there and my OB told me it gets tough to distinguish kicks and punches once they're that big.

My little guy liked to stick his feet out straight so he would be head down but I could feel butt on one side and feet on the other. Perhaps your baby is similar? His heartbeat was usually in a similar area.
If you lay down flat you should be able to feel a head in your pelvis if baby is still head down

Did any of you ladies have a transverse baby? What did the movement feel like?
I'm kinda bummed cause I think my baby is now transverse again....she moves a lot and flips a lot. I'm 36 weeks this saterday so for me it is getting close to the cut off. I know babies can pretty much still flip whenever but doctors like to have a plan. My local practices dont do a ton of feeling for babies position unfortunately. I have to ask. They will do an ultrasound at 36 weeks and go from there if they think baby isn't head down. Last appointment at 34 weeks doctor said she was head down. I could feel it...However, I've noticed my belly is shaped has changed and is weird and flat looking. Also the pressure down below I was feeling is gone. I found her heartbeat this morning. Ignore my gross belly but I did some belly mapping and I think she moved from head down to sideways. Boo The circle is her butt and the heart is her heartbeat. Just for fun what do you ladies think?

Sorry I have too much time on my hands so I got bored and dis this.
