i tried aveeno eczema cream, aquaphor, haus botanicals, md moms silk, cetaphil, vanicream, cerave, and triple cream (from the makers of triple paste) on LO's eczema. i like cetaphil and vanicream for maintenance, but for actual eczema breakouts, triple cream worked the best for us (you can find it on amazon). warning: it is super thick and pasty, so it's really for spot use, not for overall use.

i found aquaphor too messy, and the aveeno didn't seem like it did much. haus and md moms silk were okay, but way too expensive for how much we needed and triple cream seemed better.

I just get small patches in the winter but my son has had it all over his body and arms in the past 2 winters.... We have tried a ton of products.... This winter we did Mustela, babyganics, aquaphor, eucerin eczema, aveeno and a few others.... We found that the aveeno bath worked best ( and was cheapest) and did babyganics eczema body lotion. My sister also went through a lot of products with her daughter and loved California baby sensitive.

We used the babyganics wash and Cetaphil and aquaphor cream. E had such a bad outbreak that we had to use an RX on her. The babyganics is not scented but subtly reminds me of what a number 2 pencil smells like. Probably all the oatmeal. They make a cream, too!

Vanicream! I lotion my kids twice a day, and it has greatly improved their eczema.

Thanks!! Yep, the bath every other day when practical has been standard! I have the Shea moisture products on their for her shampoo. Thanks for all the recommendations, I'm going to look for trial sizes of stuff to try out on myself while I wait!

Cetaphil body wash
Vanicream lotion
Sarna Sensitive lotion for when things are flared and itchy

Combo recommended by our pedi and is the only thing that works. We used Cali Baby sensitive for awhile with DS but it didn't really do anything for his skin.

My LOs allergist likes Vanicream, applied using the soak and seal method (here: http://www.nationaljewish.org/healthinfo/conditions/allergy/types/eczema/lifestyle-management/soak-and-seal/)

Besides that we do johnsons baby shampoo, cetaphil gentle for soap. I received the best mustela gift basket that I couldn't use!

California baby sensitive sunscreen has also worked well for his sensitive skin.

Oh and we try to only use dial gold soap when washing hands! I did a lot of hand sanitizer in the beginning and wouldn't do that again now that I know how dry and itchy he gets.

Hi, I don't suffer from it, but my LO does. We tried babyganics, Eucerin Aquaphor, and Johnson's, none worked. He didn't react badly to them they just didn't provide much relief. What did work was the Aveeno baby eczema line. We use the wash and lotion.

I have severe eczema, and the doctor told me LO will probably have at least sensitive skin if not eczema as well. I'm finishing up my registry, and looking for brands that are good for sensitive skin and/or eczema. I have my standard staple cetaphil, aquaphor, eucerin, etc... However, I'm interested in what are people's favorite baby specific brands. Mustela, California Baby, any other suggestions? Everything was all sealed at Buy Buy Baby so I couldn't smell the products or test any of the lotions on my hand!
