It worked great for making purees, but like the others, I only used it for a few months. Now, at 10 months he eats mostly finger foods. I was so bummed I couldn't get one (before DD was born). Now I'm grateful since we don't even use our stick blender since DD likes to chew on finger foods. If you already have a blender, you could buy your own small jars for the baby's food. I think I used it for about 3 months total (from 6-9 months), now it just sits on the counter because my LO really wanted to eat our food, not a whole bunch of purees.</p> <p>But it is really cute and serves it's purpose. I just think it's one of those things that you don't necessarily need.
