We live in upstate NY, so jackets are required about 8-9 months of the year. DS fits in even with his jacket or winter outerwear. I use the carrier at the grocery store, while shopping, when we go hiking, and for walks with my SIL. I used it a ton from birth to 9 months, but haven't used it as much lately. DS is in a phase where he wants to look around and gets fussy in the carrier, but I've heard many kids hit that phase and then like the carrier again. He's big enough to try the back carry out though and I think he likes that better. We have a Boba, which I really love.

We used our Ergo during winter. Had a relatively mild winter, but we used it at the market and whenever we went shopping.

Do you use your carrier during the colder months especially if you're not in a pedestrian friendly city?

Starting to think how necessary a carrier really is for us!
