@Rescuemom10: we had the ergo baby sport which is amazing and especially good once baby is over 3 months. we were also gifted the baby bjorn which is only good for the newborn stage, after the newborn stage its really really super uncomfortable and it isnt really good for the baby because of the position it carries the baby in.

I loved the ring sling when mine was itty bitty. Don't own a tula so I can't comment on them. I own lenny lamb and kinderpack SSCs. Not sure when you are due but there is supposed to be a baby MJ in the works. Right now my girl is only 16# so the LL fits like a dream & is so soft.

I have an ergo (original), Tula, and lillebaby. I loved the ergo and found it the most comfy but the Tula worked better for my son once he got taller as the panel is higher. I like the lillebaby the least in terms of fit and comfort. Everyone says it's the most comfy (lumbar support) but I felt it was the most difficult to get a proper M seat.. It is handy in that it adjusts from narrow to wide so that you don't need an infant insert.

As for stretchy wraps, I used a Solly baby for the first couple months and really liked it! My son outgrew it quickly though (25 lb limit) so kind of pricey if you consider it that way.

I have a Balboa sling I love because it's so easy around the house. I also love my Boba for when baby is young and Ergo for hiking. I just hiked 3 miles with my 14 week old in the Ergo. Lots of back support.

I've only had a Tula but it's been really good for me. One complaint though is the straps sometimes slip off my shoulders because I am a very narrow build. Today I wore my 19 month old for 4+ hours though so it's pretty darn comfy! Also with the infant insert I've used it for around 15 months . So definitely gotten my money's worth.

I love my Tulas. When I was first wearing we had an ergo and ring sling and they were ok. I sold my ergo and bought my first Tula and haven't looked back. I love it. My current collection is: 1 ring sling, 4 standard Tulas, 1 toddler Tula, 3 woven wraps.

We have a Maya, Ergo, and Moby. I used the Maya mostly when he was younger and for shorter periods of time. I used the Ergo the most, even for hikes and up to early toddlerhood.

@MamaBear87: Yeah, that would be ideal. Tried previously to find something in my area. But I live in a small town on an Island. May just have to network via FB friends in the area to see who has what and try that way.

@Rescuemom10: I really really love the Ergo! So easy to use! Buuut now that DD is bigger, The standard Tula seems to be more outlasting b/c the panel is higher and wider. We're not terribly comfortable in the Ergo anymore esp b/c she mainly uses it to nap when we're out and is in there for 1+ hr. She's 16 mo now and 22+ lbs and in 18 mo pants.

I think a lot of the Tula hype is that it's available as wrap conversions and/or tons of fun prints/colors.

@Rescuemom10: I'm sure you've heard it before but your best bet is to find a babywearing club or lending library where you can try on and borrow some different carriers. I'm not a tula fan because they don't fit me or baby well but I love kinderpack. Ring slings are also awesome for quick ups but you don't get the same support as you do from an ssc or a woven.

@snowjewelz: How do you like your Tula in comparison to your Ergo. I have used an Ergo before and found it very similar to my Beco.

Also- Tula's? I know a few people who SWEAR by them. Are they really that awesome or that different from a Beco or Ergo?

I know its been talked about many times before, but lets talk baby carriers. I currently have a Beco Butterfly that I used with DD. I liked it, but honestly did not use it that much. I feel now that I am going to have another LO and a Toddler I am wanting to baby carry a lot more. I do recall when I used my Beco that after not too long I would feel the wearing on my back and start to ache. Had a moby and honestly didn't care for that and its too quickly outgrown.
Rings and slings and other wraps I haven't tried but open to anything.
