The k'tan was also too snug for her. I got a sling (balboa I think) and she loves it! Someone suggested I try the bjorn because some babies just like the forward facing style better. I think you can use the bjorn starting at 8 lbs? If he prefers to be up higher, a wrap would be my first choice, or maybe a ring sling. Can you tell what about the carrier seems to bother him? Ellie hated being pressed up against me and restricted in any way. They may feel like they're just floating around without much to catch them. I would try something else. Either a RS or a SSC. Don't know your LO's age, but for me SSCs can be a bit cumbersome for babies that are still too small to wear sans insert. When I put him in there kangaroo style (upright on my chest) he would push away from me with his arms and fuss/cry. I could never get him high enough, he would drop lower and lower, even after I pull the loop in the back. He didn't like being in there cradle-style either, he would cry. :bummed: </p> <p>Should I try another sling, or just figure that it's not for every baby? What sling would you recommend? </p>
