But you are right, it's not like she seems to have come from a good happy family or supportive circle of friends. She lived like 20 minutes away from me and looks like any kid I could see at library story time or the playground or whatever- but no one was taking her to those. It just hits so close to home. So sad, but what a surprise (not) they arrested mom and her boyfriend. Like every other child murder. </p> <p>People did notice she was missing - the neighbors assumed CPS had taken her into custody. I think it's clear that her guardian must either be responsible for her death or also dead, since no one is coming forward. I just think about how even scum of the earth Casey Anthony (yeah, yeah, "innocent", blah blah) had people around her notice that her child was missing, eventually. My 2.5 year old is the same height and weight as this poor little girl, so given that she's 4 I'm guessing maybe she was malnourished and not well taken care of. I find it hard to believe that no one has come forward to identify her. Today on the news they said this composite image has been viewed over 45M times online.
