It's more of an effort to get him to laugh but he has a happy disposition. We had to work to get that girl to smile when she was a baby, and like yours, didn't find tickling and that kind of stuff silly. She was very content, slept really well, ate well, a generally easy baby, just ... serious. At 2 now, she's still the same way, but she does find things funny and laughs.. she's still quiet and serious most of the time though. She can smile, but she doesn't do so very often and I have to REALLY work at it. She doesn't find tickling and general silliness very funny, but if I really grin in her face at the right time of day, she will smile back. Her pediatrician isn't worried because she does smile sometimes...she says she is just a "serious" baby. She is pretty laid back...not at all fussy and sleeps a lot. Seems content most of the time. She has great eye contact and tracks really well.</p> <p>Anyone else have a not-so-smiley baby??? Did they smile more as they it older? I am trying not to worry, but I can't help it!
