It might be something that if you start small you can build to a point where she is able to play on her own without needing you for a period of time. My 8 month old likes to be held and entertained all.the.time. I'm looking for something I can use to set her down while I shower, clean or do stuff in the kitchen. </p> <p>We have a jumperoo but she doesn't like us to be out of sight (she'd prefer to seat right in front of her where she can see us). I've tried putting her in the high-chair and rolling that near me in the kitchen but she gets fidgety. I also have a babybjorn babysitter bouncy seat but she doesn't like that either. I've thought about setting her down in a playard with toys but it's cumbersome to carry around plus we have cats that would jump in there. </p> <p>Is there anything out there that is easy to carry from room to room, doesn't take up too much space, that will entertain LO? I'm thinking maybe one of those activity seats or a Bumbo but they seem like they are for younger infants? Help! </p>
