Obviously because you're mounting onto the banister I wouldn't let T hang off of it!<br /> M does occasionally hang off of it. But she gets fair warning about punishment so she doesn't do it often. She hasn't been able to shift it. We ended up getting a regular tension mounted gate, and then using small pieces of foam rubber between the gate and the wall and bannister at the awkward spaces.
