The doctor came in yesterday morning, said that I was doing great. As he was removing my dressing he asked me when I wanted to go home, and I said tomorrow, Friday I guess. Then he asked if I wanted to go home today (yesterday) and I said sure. He signed the discharge papers and I was out of there by 2p. He left me a script for painkillers and I was good to go!<br /> Honestly, it's been great being home. Me and my babies, my Tylenol 3s and my own bed, I'm happy. It's hurt way less than last time. I've taken my T3s three times in the past 24 hours. I can move around, walk, go up the stairs no problem. The only thing I can't do is laugh and pick up my 28lb DS. Well, she surprised us all! I probably could have done a VBAC on Tuesday, but I was in far too much pain, so they just wheeled me to the OR and gave me a section. I actually progressed pretty quickly though. I went from 1cm to 3cm in 1.5 hours. I couldn't have handled a VBAC mentally. So I was sitting up on the table, crying through contractions until he got there. He got there at like 9:55 and then it took a few mins to get me prepped and ready. They weren't really 'ready' when they took me in. </p> <p>Also, my husband almost didn't make it as he was at home with my LO and had to get his parents to come over while he came to the hospital. My mom had brought me in and was with me the whole time.
