My DD has been doing this, too. It took me the longest time to figure out what she was doing because I had no idea the top tooth had poked through! She doesn't do it that much but when she does...ick. Not a good sound.

It's such a nasty sound, but yes, my LO did this too. Only for a short while, luckily. Even more lucky for me, my friend's son had been doing it a few weeks before C started, so I knew it was normal.

DS did this for a lil while too. He stopped after awhile. The sound is absolutely bone curling. Being baby teeth, I felt he'd grind them away!

LO went through a teeth grinding phase. The noise is just about the worst in the world to me! I would basically shove my finger in between her teeth to stop her. She did stop after a while.

Haha! My LO does this too. It's SOOO terrible! I grind my teeth at night, and was praying I hadn't passed on this terrible habit to her (lol). But apparently it's normal. :) My babe did it for about a week after her first top tooth came in--mostly while she was eating! But I haven't heard her do it much lately. I think it's normal, and just a phase. Thank goodness!

Our baby has her two bottom teeth, and as of this week, one top tooth. Yesterday, I heard a HORRIBLE sound coming from her mouth. My little devil child is GRINDING HER TEETH!!! It's awful. Please tell me this is normal, and that she should stop soon? I am sure she's just exploring her new teeth, but man ... Do tiny baby mouth guards exist? ;)
