We've been putting her on it since she was 2 weeks old and she seems to really enjoy it. At first she just stared at the black and white polka dots but now at 6 weeks, she is much more interactive with it, staring at the different animals and of course she loves looking at herself in the mirror! He started using it around 7 weeks, he was interested in the toys for about 5 mins at a time. Now at 5 months he loves it even more. He loves to kick all the toys with his feet, and try to pull all the toys off the links, it's so funny. Ha. She does love mirrors, and the one on that gym is removable so we use that with the stuff she does like (bouncer, musical gliding chair/contraption). I like the sounds and music on the rainforest gym. She's only 8 weeks, and I've been trying to convince her since around week 4 that the gym is a fun thing. The brighter the colors, the better. At first we got a swing that matched our house decor (it was brown and cream) and LO would have nothing to do with the toys on it. However, once we got a brighter colored one, she loved it! I made sure to get a super "tacky" baby gym, just to make sure she would use it.</p> <p>She started using it at 5 weeks or so, but didn't start really paying attention to the toys until 10 weeks. We got it from Buy Buy Baby months ago and just found out the music/lights don't work :( We live 3 hrs from the closest BBB so I can't easily return it.
