They say it's a skin tag but haven't seen that type in that area of such a young one (it's seen in women as some get older). So they don't think it's anything to be too worried about. My 3mo had a small abscess a few weeks ago that sounds similar to that description. It started out in a similar location looking like a whitehead pimple with a tiny bit of pus, then looked like a skin tag for about a day before going back to a pimple-like structure before healing. We had to give him warm baths a few times a day to help drain it, but it never seemed to bother him. In our case it was connected to a fistula we had to have repaired, but I don't think that's the case with most abscesses. But, it also has the look of a blister. However, she is not sensitive to the touch of it and hasn't cried at all when I wipe her down there. I'm taking her to the doctor this afternoon because I'm slightly freaked out. Has anyone had this or seen this before? </p>
