I say go for it! Nowadays, there are so many non-casino hotels that you could enjoy a Vegas getaway without feeling like you're surrounded by gamblers and partiers. We took DS when he was almost 1 and we all had a great time.

I think it would be fine! I took DD and DH with me when I had a work conference in Vegas a few years ago. She was 3 yo at the time though, so different than your baby's age... but I was still able to find a bunch of kid-friendly and family-friendly stuff to do. We also took her to Atlantic City at 5 months for a long weekend.

I would do it. I think that with a little planning and thought you can have a lot of fun there, even with a baby!

I understand why you're considering it but it'll be a ton of hassle! And Vegas is no place for kids. I know you'll skip the social stuff, but still, I wouldn't even take t baby to a restaurant there. It's loud everywhere and people smoke everrrrrrywhere. Maybe if your LO literally stars in te hotel the whole time? But still, I feel like it would be such a hassle---packing all that stuff and commuting with a LO when it isn't 100% necessary.

There is a conference for work in Vegas at the end of May and I'm trying to decide whether to go. LO will be 4.5 months old. I'd pay to fly DH with me so he could be with her during the day. I only want to go because these conferences are GREAT and I learn a lot. They generally only happen once per year. The official hotel for the conference is close to the airport (conference takes place at UNLV). I will only go if I take LO because it will kill my freezer stash to be gone for three days and I'm not ready to do that.

What do you all think? Worth it to take a three hour flight and stay in a hotel? I can leave the conference whenever and will probably skip all of the social stuff. DH has been to Vegas a lot and isn't sold on the idea. Help!
