Things that helped us were infant Tylenol, Hyland's tiny cold tablets (and their cough syrup when necessary), saline spray, the snotsucker, boogie wipes, a cool Mist humidifier (the ones you can put Vicks inserts in are awesome), and Baby Vicks on his feet.</p> <p>And wow, that was a long list. Our Christmas with our extended family was totally derailed with every baby 2 and under with colds. I know you are suppose to ride it out but Tylenol worked for us to help her get some sleep. We also have a humidifier and air purifier. DD get well faster than all of her little cousins. Dd has only had four colds and I'm sure more are headed our way as she will start daycare right after she turns eighteen months. But the first one was the worst, she was in a state of shock. :( Nothing to do but wait. We usually start out in our own beds and then cosleep when dd has a cold. The first time she slept ok the second half of the night as long as she was touching one of us.
