Some jeans are simply softer and have more spandex it them and those are the ones that babies love.

@MungBean: @mynoahbear: SO cute! Jeans were never on my shopping radar because I also thought they would be too hard or uncomfortable for babies, until you guys posted these with the soft band. Will definitely keep my eyes peeled on the sale racks for those regular jean looking ones! :)

@shopaholic: too cute!

FYI - Based on @mynoahbear: @MungBean: @Coco Bee: 's recommendations and this post, I snagged this pair of super-soft loose "baby jeans" at Baby Gap today. They had quite a few, on SALE for $16.99, plus additional 30% off! I think the store was trying to match the online deal going on...

The jeggings were what she threw a fit about! I thought they felt soft but she very verbally disagreed. I'm okay with trying again when she's a little older. I think she's just trying so hard to become mobile and they make her feel restricted so I won't hold her back from that.

Lo is 15 months and I still haven't put her in jeans. I figure the other pants seem so much more comfortable, and she's a baby so she can get away with that. We have some jeans that were hand me downs so maybe one day in the winter ill try them.

She has worn jeggings though. The look of jeans and comfort of leggings :)

Totally depends on the fabric, if it's too hard with no stretch I wouldn't put them on, but if they're nice and soft LO doesn't mind. But I've never understood why people put so many pockets and proper zippers on baby jeans? It's not like they need somewhere to put their car keys and wallet...

We cloth diaper and jeans were difficult to fit for a while, but by the time he started walking they seemed to be more comfortable. A lot of times I'll put him in a onesie as an undershirt if he's wearing jeans so it's not so scratchy on his belly.

have you tried the knit-waisted jeans? they are sooo much more comfortable!

My favorite jeans of LOs were circo target brand and they have a sweatband waist.
Gap sells those types of jeans too and I want to get another pair for LO now that he outgrew his.

He wears them fine but I find it restricting so I don't let him wear it often. Plus, it's harder to pull off than a pair of soft cotton/fleece pants. It just looks uncomfortable on an infant, especially one with lots of leg chub.

I didn't start putting baby jeans on LO until 6mo and the softest pair I found were at gap. I think they don't like it when the jeans are really stiff (who does?). The ones I got just got softer with every wash so I think it depends on the pair you get...

I'm not sure that my baby likes them... since they are more restricting. I definitely dislike what a pain they are to put on after each diaper change. But they are so freaking cute, so I put my daughter in them regularly. The skinny jeans are especially annoying to put on, but also exceptionally cute. Cute often wins out for me.

He wears them ok, but isn't a huge fan. I find them to be a huge PITA, always sagging and too restrictive of him moving so we usually stick with sweat pants.

We discovered last weekend that LO does not like jeans at all. I don't know if maybe they feel too restricting? She likes dresses, leggings, and cotton/fleece pants (and sleep n plays on our lazy days). She threw a fit in the car though until we stopped and took the little jeans someone gave her off. I guess we'll have to revisit jeans in a few months.

I've noticed though that other babies wear jeans with no issues. My nephew was wearing them from the time he was around a month or two old. LO is almost four months old now.

Does your baby like jeans?
