Yes, twice. :( Once was those dang puffs. I hate those things. The other was a Ella's cookies for babies. Each time I broke it up, but it still happened.

This why she only eats mushy stuff at 10 months old, almost 11 months. I'm to scared to try it again. I'll give her little pasta, little meat, etc but other stuff-puffs in particular- scare me. I just hope she doesn't get a hold of any at daycare. She tries to eat what the other kids eat. :(

Not full on choking but she's gagged a few times. Same situation - I was distracted by the older one, trying to get him to eat so I just kept putting food on her plate. She just stuffs herself with everything in front of her sometimes. But if I don't put food in front of her fast enough, she gets angry.

Olive choked once recently. She turned red, couldn't breathe, and then threw up everything she was eating. I think I was just feeding her faster than she was chewing it because I was distracted by Charlie.

It was pretty scary! But luckily it happened so fast I didn't even have time to panic. She just loves eating so much, that she gets mad if I don't feed her fast enough (her hand control is still too poor for her to feed herself)!

I am a little more careful now, but still feed her chunks of food every day, as she hates purees/mushy food. She's the total opposite of Charlie, who still loves mushy food!

Have you had an experience with your LO choking?
