I was worried since I had read stuff on board that resulted in miscarriages. But the doctor wasn't concerned at all since the heartbeat was strong. Saying it measured "late" is just based on an assumption that she ovulated at the average time. If she ovulated late, the fetus could be right on track.</p> <p>Two weeks off would mean a very long cycle though. Does she have a history of long or irregular cycles? </p> <p>My measurements didn't match with LMP either, but I didn't let the tech worry me because I knew I ovulated late. They were NTNP so she wasn't tracking ovulation. I was measuring at least a week behind; but after tracking her growth which was on track, my EDD just got pushed back, that's all. If there is some wiggle room there, then I think the strong hb is a good sign. She had her first ultrasound yesterday. The ultrasound tech said the baby was measuring at about 6 weeks, two weeks behind. There was a fairly strong heartbeat at 115. Any positive stories that didn't end up in miscarriage. We have a family history of miscarriages. She and I both had one prior to our first baby. She goes back for another ultrasound in two weeks to make sure there is still a strong heartbeat. She's not feeling very optimistic. Any positive stories? </p>
