We used to have an older SI one, but it was analog and - to be blunt - the reception sucked in our NYC apartment. We have a house now, and the range on the BabyTouch is incredible. We frequently travel with it as well, so I can attest to the range. I'd suggest going the way of a Foscam, so you can view it on your phone or laptop.
