I sorta kinda had a similar problem. My LO was born with a ton of strawberry blonde hair. However she had two parts just behind her ears that grew like crazy. So she had a full head of hair and then two rat tails behind her ears that went down to her shoulder blades. How's that's for a crazy image. I trimmed them even with the rest of her hair (after getting my laughs out for a while. Maybe a trim to even the back out and make everything appear thicker and more uniform?

My 2 yo rocks the little mullet! I love it and think it is so cute. We definitely won't cut her hair for a long time. Kids are allowed to have free spirit hair.

So, LO never had tons of hair, and it's starting to grow in a little (she's 16 mo) and it's really fine, but it's mostly growing in the back! She is getting a beautiful baby mullet :silly: She sometimes gets little curls in the back and you can definitely pull the back hair into a pony if you wanted, but everything else is all business! DH keeps asking when we are going to trim her mullet - which I say never! Or at least not any time soon because if we trimmed it to match the rest of her hair we'd cut a bunch off and I love her little mullet ringlets, haha. She is getting longer hair on top, so maybe it's more of a mull-hawk.

What did you all do with your LO's baby mullets? Wait them out? Trim to even up? Your baby had beautiful hair styles from day one?
