Glad she woke up happy. I would have assumed she was just sleepy too. R has days where she needs more sleep too.

@Dandelion: @Mrs. Jacks: @Orvis18: @Orvis18: Thanks you guys!

So of course as soon as I fret enough to actually post myt concerns, she wakes up and is in a GREAT super-smiley mood! I guess she just needed a little extra sleep...But she won't let me investigate her mouth, that little stinker...

My daughter will ocassionally have super long sleep sessions and we've found these usually coincide with a growth spurt. She slept 15 hours the other night, which is very unusual for her, and has been eating like a champ. We're guessing she's going to sprout up any day now. I think it's ok and would let her rest.

I agree with @Dandelion, she is probably just comfortable now and getting the extra rest she needs.

If she's resting comfortably, I'd let her rest. (of course checking on her to make sure she's breathing ok and stuff)... Could she be getting sick in addition to the tooth?

She probably is finally comfortable with the pain meds, so she can sleep well. Or, the tooth has poked through and now she can relax. I wouldn't worry about it. She probably needed the sleep.

Normally H sleeps 12 hours...She went to bed at around 7:15 last night so I expected her to get up at 7:15...She is cutting her first tooth (or getting very close, I feel a bump but don't see white yet)...She woke up around 4:30am (which occasionally happens and I always feed her)...She went back to sleep but was really restless and woke up again about 30 minutes later. I figured her gums were hurting her so I gave her a dose of Tylenol. I nursed her back to sleep and she slept until around 730 and woke up again. I assumed it was for good but when I picked her up, she reached for the boob so I nursed her again and she fell back asleep - which is very unusual. She was sleeping so hard that I even got to clip her nails. I put her back in her crib but now I'm worried about having given her the Tylenol and she's so sleepy and not getting up for the day.

I am racking my brain worried that I gave her the wrong medicine/dose (we have Motrin too but I know I didn't give her that because there's just a cap on the motrin instead of the plastic cover with the hole to stick the syringe in and it always annoys me and I would remember if I had to deal with that this morning)...It's 8:40 here.

Should I be worried or go get her up? Is it possible that she's just more comfortable after the Tylenol and just wants to sleep? It's just so weird bc she NEVER does this or sleeps late.
